Atlantic Tiltload Partners With Petty for Legends Races

Management at Petty International Raceway are pleased to announce Atlantic Tiltload has joined its corporate family as sponsor of two Maritime League of Legends events. The Legends races will be run at Petty June 1 and August 24 on what are expected to be two of the biggest shows at the facility this year, both in conjunction with Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour events.

"We're pleased to welcome Darrin (Butcher) and his Atlantic Tiltload team," said Craig McFetridge, co-owner of Petty International Raceway. "It is great to see a long-time motorsports sponsor like them expand their support to New Brunswick."

Darrin Butcher, owner of Atlantic Tiltload, says Petty is a perfect fit for his business, and his family.

"We've got an office in Saint John now and we do a lot of business in New Brunswick," said Butcher, "so we see this partnership as an opportunity to involve our customers in a sport we've come to love as a family, and to help the track and the Legends division."

Butcher, who has sponsored maritime motorsports in one forum or another for more than 15 years, has strong ties to the Legends division with his eldest son Cole seeking to defend his 2012 series championship, and his youngest son Jarrett, a 2012 Bandolero Cars champion, joining the division this year as a rookie.

"It's a great sport we enjoy as a family," said Butcher. "Our Atlantic Tiltload employees enjoy it just as much, as do many of our customers. This new partnership is a win-win situation."
